| Dear Colleagues, We have a busy week in the Senate in the following two weeks: – A Special Session of the Senate on Thursday 1:30 pm to 2:30pm to discuss issues with faculty contracts. – A regular Senate meeting on October 13. | You will be able to cast your vote to determine who will be our newest Senators and President-Elect in a few days. The polls will close on October 12. I will be sending a future communication on the ballot, including platform statements from the candidates for President-Elect. Call for Content Experts to Assist with Student Course Evaluation Questions Revision Interested in assisting with revising student course evaluations? The Student Course Evaluation Workgroup needs your help. We need 50 experienced faculty, some from each AOS (Area of Study), who understand the breadth of the College’s course offerings to serve as content experts. Those willing to help will complete a survey of questions, suggesting additions and edits to ensure that the questions are actionable, valid, as free as possible from bias, and measure the correct aspect of teaching.
