Nearly 200 ACC employees came out to celebrate the employee Wellness Fest on Friday, April 26, 2024 from 11am – 2pm at the Eastview Campus Courtyard! This was the first time hosting the event since 2019. Though the forecast called for storms, the only thunder was that of employees chatting and laughing together as good times were had by all, and the applause for the top finishers of the Exercise Stars challenge which were announced at the kick-off of this event.
The employee Wellness Fest event is an opportunity to celebrate ACC employees’ hard work on behalf of the college and our students, and to spend some time on self-care. We had over 30 health-
focused vendors from the campus and community, as well as food trucks, field day games, campus challenges, exercise demos, and other fun activities to allow employees to connect with their peers and destress (and maybe even win some of the awesome door prize packages that were up for grabs).
As employees, taking time out of our day to love ourselves and each other allows us to re-energize, and in turn, better love our students to success!
