Austin Community College District is a nationally recognized public institution of higher education serving a diverse student population of more than 70,000 annually.

In 2023, the college celebrates 50 years of service in Central Texas. Since its founding, ACC has grown to be among the largest colleges in the nation, with 11—soon to be 13—campuses located across Central Texas and more than 100 programs in 10 areas of study.

ACC promotes student success and community development by providing affordable access, through traditional and distance learning modes, to higher education and workforce training, including appropriate applied baccalaureate degrees, in its service area.
