Overview
Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, ACC was proud to provide a diverse range of study abroad opportunities to students. While the college had to put these opportunities on hold for three years, ACC is bringing them back in 2023.
Accomplishments
ACC relaunched study abroad programs and opportunities after a three-year hiatus due to COVID-19. Study abroad opportunities are an excellent way to provide life-changing enrichment and credit through travel. Such programs have also been shown to help students persist and become lifelong learners and explorers.

Study abroad programs provide students with valuable educational and life enrichment that can help translate to persistence and student success.
Next Steps
- Grow the study abroad program and continually seek to expose students to opportunities for international engagement.
- Work with other departments to foster more student and faculty exchanges and globalization of curriculum.
