Helping Students Navigate Campuses Through Wayfinding

Overview

With the completion of the 2014 bond projects, the college is analyzing student traffic flow on campuses more fully and looking for ways to make spaces more accessible.

Accomplishments

The college began installing new wayfinding signage at Highland Campus to help direct students to classrooms and services.

Impact

To succeed at ACC, students first need to know how to get to class. Improving wayfinding and helping students navigate the nearly 800,000 square feet of new instructional space at Highland Campus is an important part of making the college as “user-friendly” as possible for students and visitors.

Next Steps

We will continually seek to improve wayfinding districtwide.
