Orientation
- When: Monday, August 21, 2023, 8:30 a.m. – 12 noon
- Where: 8105 — Eastview Campus
- What to bring: Access to syllabi signature page for RNSG 2213 and RNSG 2160, access to class material per Blackboard announcements, access to course calendar (use version posted on Blackboard), Psychiatric Nursing textbook (see below)
- Orientation will be followed by Module 1 (Concepts of Mental Health Nursing) and lab on Therapeutic Communication.

Exams
There will be three unit exams and a comprehensive final exam, fifty questions each.
- When: See the course calendar for specific dates and times for exams.
- Where: Eastview Campus
- Mental Health ATI exams given.
Clinical Schedule
- When & Where: Austin Oaks Hospital, Austin State Hospital, Seton Shoal Creek & Cross Creek Hospital, Wednesday – Friday (specifics will be announced)
- What to bring: Prior to attending clinical, students must provide a Clinical Clearance ticket.
- Students will receive further info from their assigned clinical faculty.
