Orientation
- When: Monday, February 21, 2022 at 8 a.m.
- Where: Online in Blackboard Collaborate
- Prior to orientation, upload a signed copy of the RNSG 1247 syllabus release form to Blackboard.
- You will need a laptop, personal computer, or tablet to complete the course. Your device must have a webcam. Devices can be requested through ACC at this link.
Class Schedule
- When: Mondays at 8 a.m. See calendar for specific lab/lecture/test times.
- Where: Lectures will be online in Blackboard Collaborate. Labs and testing will be in person at the HLC.

Skills Labs
- When:
- Monday, February 21, 12 noon – 4 p.m.
- Monday, February 28, 12 noon – 4 p.m.
- Monday, March 7, 12 noon – 5 p.m.
- Where: Labs will be held in person at Highland Campus (HLC).
- What to wear: ACC scrubs, surgical face mask, and closed toe shoes
- What to bring: Bring your lab kit, Performance Mastery Checklists, and Practice Scenarios.
- Lab attendance is mandatory. This course focuses on the following skills: phlebotomy, tracheostomy care, tracheostomy suctioning; central line dressing with blood drawing, and cap change.
- You must pass a Mastery Skills Check-off over the skills taught in this course to successfully complete the course.
Exams
- When: See the calendar for specific dates.
- Where: Testing will be in person at Highland Campus (HLC).
- Notes: There are two tests and a final exam.
