Skills Labs

  • When and where: Mondays, beginning February 19, 2024 — see course calendar for dates, times, and specific locations
  • What to bring: Lab kit, Performance Mastery Checklists, and practice scenarios
  • Lab attendance is mandatory. This course focuses on four skills: phlebotomy, tracheostomy care, tracheostomy suctioning, and central line dressing change with blood draw and cap change. You must pass a Mastery Skills Checkoff over the RNSG 1247 skills to successfully complete the course.

Exams

  • When: See course calendar for specific dates and times.
  • Where: RRC Computer Testing Center (Building 3000, third floor).
    There are two unit exams and a final exam.

  • Please wear scrubs on the first day, because we will have lab that day. To get prepared, please watch the videos on BlackBoard (click the Lab button, then click the Tracheostomy Lab link) prior to lab.
